Vitamin F helps burn saturated fats through intake of 2 to 1; also helps block the deposits of cholesterol in our arteries. Moreover, it gives a healthy skin, hair, and gives protection against the ill effects of x ray.

Vitamin F helps growth, influences the activity of our glands and makes available calcium to our body cells, cures heart disease, decrease weight by burning saturated fats.

Deficiency in Vitamin F may cause eczema, development of acne, pimples, etc.

Richest sources of Vitamin F are vegetable oils, wheat germ, linseed oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, soybean oil, peanuts, sunflower seeds, walnuts, pecans, almonds, and avocado.

Avocado just to mention has the biggest amount of unsaturated fats among fruits.

Large consumption of carbohydrates like rice, bread, sweets, etc. needs more vitamin F supplement. It must remember that vitamin E should be taken to enable our body to absorb vitamin F more effectively.

Although many nuts are rich in vitamin F including peanuts and walnuts, Cashew nuts and Brazil nuts are not so good source.
